Greater Bladderwort
Greater Bladderwort Utricularia vulgaris is a water
plant that eats insects which it traps in little bladders
attached to its narrow hair-like underwater leaves. It
has yellow spurred flowers with two lips that look rather
like the flowers of Butter-and-eggs in the Snapdragon
Family. There are about 275 species of this genus
world-wide.
