Vine Maple
Vine Maple Acer circinatum is a west coast species that grows in
moist conditions. It is a shrub or tree and its leaves have seven to nine
lobes, more than in any other species of maple growing in Canada. The
foliage turns yellow or red in the autumn. The wings of the two-seeded
fruit are spread apart so far that they are in a straight line.
