Sycamore Maple
The tree known as Sycamore Acer pseudoplatanus in Britain is the
largest maple growing in that part of Europe. The leaves grow in pairs
(opposite arrangement) unlike those of the American Sycamore which is a
member of the Plane Family. Sycamore Maple has winged seeds which are
typical of the Maple Family.
