Maple Syrup
In the spring Sugar Maple trees may be tapped for their
sweet sap which is boiled down to make maple syrup, a
practice learned from Native North Americans who
have made use of this source of sugar for hundreds of
years. In the early spring when the days are sunny and
the nights are cool, holes are drilled into the trunk of the
maple and the sap is collected in buckets. MORE!
