Smooth Sumac
Smooth Sumac Rhus glabra is very similar to Staghorn Sumac and
hybrids may be formed between the two species. As its name suggests Smooth
Sumac does not have hairy twigs and leaves. The leaves are divided into
many leaflets and the flowers develop in upright clusters. Smooth Sumac is
a shrub that grows over a wide area of North America.
