Lemon
Lemon Citrus limon is an even better source of
vitamin C than the lime. A lemon tree may reach a
height of 6 metres and it has thorns on its stems. Its shiny
leaves are a simple pointed oval shape like those of
other citrus trees. The flowers are white streaked with
pink on the outside and they have a perfume almost as
beautiful as the fragrance of orange blossoms. Lemon
fruits are much in demand for drinks and flavourings.
