Coffee (Coffea) is a shrub or small tree with shiny oval leaves and sweet-smelling white flowers. The small round fruits are green at first, ripening to red and then deep crimson. Each usually contains two coffee beans and these beans are roasted and ground to provide a beverage which is drunk all round the world. [CH] {FW}
