HELP INDEX NEXT UP PREVIOUS FEEDBACK ATG Spiraea

SPIRAEA Spiraea includes about 100 species which are mainly shrubs found in north temperate regions. The leaves are arranged alternately and do not have the little modified leaflets or stipules at the base of each stalk as many members of the Rose Family do. The clusters of small white or pink flowers make these shrubs popular as garden plants. Other species from a different genus are sometimes given the common name of "Spiraea". [CH] {SH}
