Purple Kalanchoe
Purple Kalanchoe, Kalanchoe species, is a thickened fleshy plant, a
so-called "succulent" that is typical of the Sedum Family. Kalanchoes are
popular as houseplants because they are easy to grow and have heads of
brightly-coloured flowers that are long-lasting. Some species produce baby
plantlets on their leaf margins and these can drop off and take root.
Kalanchoes can be propagated from leaf or stem cuttings.
