Family Hydrangeaceae
Members of the Hydrangea Family (Hydrangeaceae) are shrubs and trees with
simple leaves that are usually arranged in opposite pairs. Some species
have sterile flowers without stamens or pistils and fertile flowers have at
least twice as many stamens as petals. Hydrangea species originated
in Asia and the Americas.
