Flowers of Wild Columbine Wild Columbine Aquilegia canadensis is easily recognised by its flower. It is red and yellow and in the shape of a drooping bell with the five petals extended backwards into hollow spurs. The stamens hang down like the clapper of the bell. The leaves are divided into three parts. Wild Columbine grows on rocky ledges and in dry woods in North America. [CH] {GW}
