ROUND-LOBED HEPATICA Round-lobed Hepatica Hepatica americana is a beautiful little woodland flower which can be seen blooming in the spring before the trees come into leaf. Its leaves have three rounded lobes and the stalks are hairy. The flowers are made up of 6 to 10 coloured sepals which look like petals. They range in colour from white through pink and lavender to blue. Three little leaves or bracts look like sepals behind the coloured flower. [CH] {GW}
