Larkspur Delphinium hybride is a popular garden plant grown for its attactive flowers that are often a deep blue colour. The upper sepal has a long backward-pointing spur which gives the flower a distinctive shape. The flower stalk has many blooms with the lowest ones opening first (a raceme). [CH] {MV}
