Globe-flower
Globe-flower Trollius europaeus is cultivated as an ornamental
perennial. The "petals" of the large cup-shaped flower are really bright
yellow sepals and in the centre there are lots of stamens. This is a species
of the cooler parts of the northern hemisphere growing wild throughout
Europe.
