Sorry, No Picture! Prince's-feather Polygonum orientale is an Asian species of the smartweeds. Like other members of this family it has a swollen sheath on the stem where a leaf is attached. It has very large heart-shaped leaves on long stalks and pink flowers in drooping clusters. It is cultivated as a garden plant and sometimes escapes into the wild. [CH] {GW}
