Dutchman's-breeches Dicentra cucullaria is a spring flower of moist northern woods. It has delicate feathery leaves and sprays of waxy white flowers with yellow tips hanging from a curving stem. Each flower has two swollen spurs which give it the shape of a little pair of baggy trousers. [CH] {GW}
