Round-leaved Sundew
Round-leaved Sundew Drosera rotundifolia traps small
insects that land on its leaves. The leaf surface is
covered with red glandular hairs that secrete a sticky
substance. Sundew grows in boggy areas where conditions
are acid and nitrates are low. This little plant has white
or pinkish flowers growing on one side of a curving
stalk and the flowers open one at a time.
