HELP INDEX NEXT UP PREVIOUS FEEDBACK ATG Family Tiliaceae

Leaves and fruits of Baswood Some of the more than 400 species of shrubs and trees in the Basswood Family are grown as ornamentals. Many of the trees have a fibrous bark and the leaves are arranged alternately. Flowers grow in branched clusters and have 5 sepals and usually 5 petals. Natural hybrids of Basswood are quite common so identification of species is often difficult. [CH] {NT}
