Hollyhock
Hollyhock Althaea rosea is tall plant with a spike of
spectacular flowers that looks especially attractive
against a garden wall. It is a Chinese species that has
been cultivated for gardens in many countries. Single and
double-flowered varieties have been developed in a
range of colours from white and yellow to pink and deep
red.
