Magnolia
Magnolias are natives of Asia and North America and are often grown as
ornamental trees. They have beautiful cup-shaped flowers to attract
pollinating insects and each flower has three sepals and six to twelve petals
surrounding many stamens and a cluster of pistils. The Cucumber Tree and
Umbrella Tree are species of Magnolia.
