Order Laurales
The Laurel Order (Laurales) is an ancient group of more than 2500 species
which are closely related to plants in the Magnolia Order (Magnoliales).
Most of them are tropical or semi-tropical woody plants. The Laurel Order
has eight families, the best-known being the Laurel Family (Lauraceae).
