White Dead-nettle
White Dead-nettle Lamium album does not belong to
the Nettle Family (Urticaceae) in spite of its common
name. It is a hairy plant and its simple leaves have coarse
teeth on their margins. White flowers grow in whorls in
the axils of the leaves and they are of the typical Mint
Family shape. This species grows by roadsides in Europe
and parts of Asia.
