Comfrey
Comfrey Symphytum officinale has one-sided clusters
of bell-shaped flowers that may be white, yellow, pink or
blue. Like other members in the Forget-me-not Family
this plant has flowers that open on one side of uncurling
stem tips. Two wing-like leaves stick up from the
flowering stalk and the stem leaves seem to form part of
the stem at their bases. This is a coarse hairy plant of
waste places.
