Swamp-milkweed
Swamp-milkweed Ascleplas incarnata has narrow
leaves and probably contains toxic substances. The many
species of milkweed can be divided into two groups,
those with broad leaves and those with narrow leaves.
Swamp-milkweed grows to a height of about a metre in
swampy ground and it has clusters of pink to red flowers.
