The Spurge Family (Euphorbiaceae) has a large number of species many of which are tropical shrubs trees and herbs. Plants in this family often have a milky juice. Many species have peculiar flowers that are really clusters of tiny flowers with no petals or sepals, surrounded by coloured modified leaves or bracts. [CH] {GW}
