Trailing Arbutus
Trailing Arbutus Epigaea repens has hairy creeping stems and
leathery evergreen leaves that are a simple oval shape. Small clusters of
fragrant pink or white flowers appear in early spring. Each flower is
shaped like a small tube which opens out into five lobes. This is a plant
of cool dry woodlands.
