Pipsissewa
Pipsissewa Chimaphila umbellata has two or three whorls of shiny
evergreen leaves which have toothed margins. At the top of the flowering
stem there is a cluster of four to eight waxy pink or white flowers each
with five petals and a ring of ten reddish stamens. This plant which is
also known as Prince's Pine is found in dry woods of North America
especially under conifers.
