TwinflowerTwinflower
Twinflower Linnaea borealis is a low-growing evergreen
plant with short leafy stalks growing up from creeping
woody stems. At the top of the slender flowering stalk
there are two pink nodding bell-shaped flowers which
have a fragrant perfume. The glossy green leaves have
a few teeth near their tips. This attractive little plant
was the favourite flower of the great botanist Linnaeus and
it can be found growing in cool northern woodlands of North
America.
