HELP INDEX NEXT UP PREVIOUS FEEDBACK ATG Family Cornaceae

BUNCHBERRY FLOWERING HEAD The Dogwood Family (Cornaceae) includes low-growing herbs, shrubs and small trees. Most have simple opposite leaves and 4 or 5-parted flowers. In some species like the one pictured here the flowers are small, green and inconspicuous but are clustered in heads that are surrounded by large, showy bracts that attract insects to the blossoms.
