Sorry, No Picture! Sea-purslane Sesuvium maritimum belongs to the Ice-plant or Carpetweed Family which are mostly succulent plants. Sea-purslane has smooth and juicy stems some of which creep horizontally. The fleshy leaves are paddle-shaped and small purple flowers grow where the leaves join the stem.
