Field Pennycress
Field Pennycress Thlaspi arvense has white flowers with four petals
and flat rounded seed-pods which have a deep notch at the tip. These are
the "pennies" that give the plant its common name. It looks rather like
Shepherd's Purse and it is also a widespread weed of waste ground.
