Cosmos

Cosmos (Cosmos) comes from a Greek word meaning "beautiful" or "ornament" and the Cosmos flower can look very beautiful particularly when several different colours are massed together. It is a Mexican plant that has finely-divided feathery leaves and slender branching stems. The coloured ray florets may be pink, white, red or purple surrounding yellow fertile florets in the centre of the head. [CH] {OX}
