Black-eyed Susan
Black-eyed Susan Rudbeckia hirta grows wild in North
America in waste places and dry fields. It has large
flowering heads with long yellow ray florets and
chocolate-brown disc florets in the centre. The slender
stems and leaves are very hairy. Cultivated hybrids and
varieties in different colour combinations are also called
Black-eyed Susan.
