Pot Marigold
Pot Marigold Calendula officinalis comes from the
Mediterranean area and is a popular garden plant. It
produces orange-yellow flowering heads throughout the
growing season. The name Pot Marigold comes from
the fact that it was once used to flavour soups and stews
and it was also used as a medicine. This marigold is a
hardy plant that will survive cold conditions and it grows
in even the least fertile soils.
