Yarrow

YARROW IN FLOWER Yarrow Achillea has dense clusters of flowering heads that are white in most species but may be pink or yellow. Most yarrows have divided leaves and those of a commonly seen species in North America Achillea millefolium are so deeply-divided that they look like little fern fronds. The petal-like ray-florets are female flowers and the disk-florets have both male and female flower parts. [CH] {MV}
