Ox-eye Daisy
Ox-eye Daisy Leucanthemum vulgare is a close
relative of the chrysanthemums and is included by some
in the same genus. It is an Eurasian native that has
become naturalised in North America and it produces
large daisy-like flowering heads throughout the summer.
A flowering head has 15-30 white ray-florets
surrounding a yellow disk which is dimpled in the centre.
