Grape Ferns
The Grape Ferns and Rattlesnake Fern belong to the genus Botrychium.
Rattlesnake Fern Botrychium virginianum is unlike the other grape
ferns in that it is not thick and fleshy. From its stem grows a single,
much-divided, lacy leaf which is bright green and the branched fertile tip of
the stem produces bright yellow spore cases.
