Filmy Ferns
The Filmy Ferns Trichomanes are tiny delicate plants with thin
translucent leaves and they grow in moist shaded areas mainly in warm parts
of the world. Their spore cases are clustered in fruit dots on the edges of
fertile leaves and the spores grow into long, thin, branched prothalli which
bear the sex organs.
