Shining Clubmoss
Shining Clubmoss Lycopodium lucidulum does not have
well-differentiated cones like many other species of Lycopodium. Its
bright yellow spore cases develop in the axils of leaves towards the tips
of the upright stems. The leaves are a shining green and they bristle out
from the stems which look a bit uneven with constrictions at intervals,
marking the start of each growing season.
