Fading Scarlet Waxy Cap
Members of the waxy cap family are mostly small and brightly coloured.
Fading Scarlet Waxy Cap Hygrophorus miniatus is orange-red in
colour and the cap is dented in the middle. It grows on the ground
or on rotting logs in mixed woodland.
