Bolete Family
Boletes (Boletaceae) usually grow on the ground in woodland.
Instead of gills the caps have a thick spongy layer of tubes in
which the spores are produced. Most boletes can be eaten though
one should avoid those with orange or red pores particularly if
they turn bluish when bruised.
