HELP INDEX NEXT UP PREVIOUS FEEDBACK ATG Phylum Trochelminthes

There are approximately 2000 species of microscopic invertebrates known as rotifers. Ranging in size from 0.1 to 0.5mm these tiny creatures are undetectable to the naked eye. Once under a microscope one can note the circular arrangement of cilia at the front end. The cilia, which constantly move, resemble a rotating wheel for which the animal has received its name.
