Flatworms are characterized by their flat, soft bodies. Like all other members of the Phylum Platyhelminthes they are bilaterally symmetrical, meaning their bodies are mirrored on either side of the lengthwise axis. Flatworms lack respiratory and circulatory systems as well as a skeleton and body cavity. This is a two-inch flatworm from Fiji. [BM] {EB}
