HELP INDEX NEXT UP PREVIOUS FEEDBACK ATG Order Nudibranchia

The Nudibranch, also called a Sea Slug, is similar to a Slug, however it lacks gills, a protective shell and a mantle cavity. The Sea Slug has rather peculiar outgrowths along its body called cerata. It is believed that the cerata may be respiratory organs; in some species the cerata are quite prominent. Shown is the Chomodorid Nudibranch. [BM] {EB}
