Octopus
Octopus have 8 arms, or tentacles with suction cups lining the bottoms. These suckers
are used to pull the octopus along the sea floor and across substrate. Octopus, less commonly, move through the water by
jet propulsion. The
octopus is able to self amputate a limb if it is damaged or if it is seized by a predator. After the limb
has been amputated, in time a new limb will regenerate. MORE!
