Octopus, found throughout the world, belong to a small order of saltwater invertebrates. They range in size from 5cm to over 9m. They have large, well developed heads, excellent vision and mouth with powerful beaklike jaws. They feed on fish and reproduce sexually. Unlike the male, the female mates only once in her life time.
