Giant Octopus
The Giant Pacific octopus is the largest of the octopus family. it is, however, not the largest of the
cephalopods. The largest cephalopod is the squid. Giant Pacific octopus can none the less weigh over
50kg (100lbs) and can reach lengths over 9m (30ft). In this photograph we are looking into the
eye of a Giant Pacific octopus.
