Sea Lily
Sorry, No Picture! The sea lily looks like an underwater plant. As adults they are fixed to the sea floor by a stalk. From the base fern-like tentacles arise. The largest sea lily reaches 60cm in height. There are 80 known living species of sea lily. It is believed that there are some 5000 extinct species. Sea lilies can be found in deep water. [BM] {EB}
