They have leathery, stippled skin which covers the animals skeleton. This skin comes in a wide variety or beautiful colours. On the underside of the arms their are double rows of tube feet which assist the sea star in locomotion. If a limb is removed from this marine animal the lost part will be regenerated. In many situations that lost part will also regenerate a new body, thus several new individuals can come from one individual. This photograph features a Sunflower Sea Star. MORE! [BM] {EB}
