Gorgonian Coral

There are 3 major classifications of coral: Hydrocoral, Gorgonian and Stony coral. Gorgonian coral includes both soft coral and telestaceans. All species of Gorgonian coral have a wood-like central core skeleton. Around this hard core is a soft jelly-like substance called the "rind".
